Life without gramma

Saturday, June 27, 2009

Vanessa's mom headed back to Fresno today. She has been staying with us and helping with Jonah for his entire life (all 13 days of it). Jonah loved being held by his gramma and I'm pretty sure gramma loved it as well.

Vanessa's mom has been a tremendous help during the past two weeks; I'm not sure how we would have done it without her. Needless to say, we are so thankful she was willing and able to spend so much time with us. Fortunately for us, my parents just got into town to take over for Vanessa's mom. Jonah is so lucky to have two sets of grandparents who can help us figure out how to become parents.

What amazing pictures of Jonah with his grandparents. Too cute! I hope he is sleeping a bit more and giving you two some much needed rest. Remember to savor every moment, they grow up so fast!

So, first of all, your son is beautiful! I love the picture of him smiling in his sleep. When work is stressing me out, I've found myself going to your blog, just to look at that picture and smile - cause he looks so happy and content. That being said, the interior designer in me has to say - your house looks so warm and cozy in all of these pictures, it makes me want to come visit just to see what all you guys have done! Anyway... I'm a little odd, I know! Congrats guys!
